Dear sailors, coaches and national representatives,
Last Tuesday we had the inaugural International Nacra 15 class meeting, various topics were discussed such as the update of the class rules, Youth Olympic Games, foiling, upcoming events& race formats. As this was our first virtual meeting, it was attended by a limited number of people but we had representation from all around the world, which we feel is really good to help steer the class.
Highlights of the meeting were:
Rules update- expectation is that World Sailing will release final version end of September
YOG/Foiling- Youth Olympics will be held on supplied foiling boats [including training at venue], no foiling boats and/or retrofit kits will be available prior to the YOG.
