What a week, packed full of good news whilst the fleet is also busy packing their bags and making final preparations for the imminent Nacra 15 European championships.
We’ve now two Nacra 15 World Championships to look forwards to at the end of 2021. Firstly our own World IN15CA Championships, in association with Yacht Club De La Grand Motte, S France, race days 1-5 Nov and N15 FCS championship 29th-31st October.
That pinnacle, open entry Worlds event may well form final selection for many for the now confirmed, 50th edition of the World Sailing Youth World Championships to be hosted in Oman 11-18th December 2021:
So back to Silvaplana!!…ENTRY IS STILL VERY MUCH OPEN: https://www.manage2sail.com/en-US/event/N15Europeans21?#!/
Our organising team is set and ready to welcome you and the approaching 50 teams from 8 Nations already entered.
As some teams ready to travel, others are already either there or on their way. Locals have happily reported that the wind and sunshine are all good for the reliable thermal conditions. Currently, air temps are 5 degrees at night, 15 during the day and the melted ice we’ll be sailing on is COLD!!
Sailors be aware, as conditions hot up, they may well want to bring both summer kit and winter layers, pack it all to be sure to be fully prepared!!!
